Referring to my Despatch No. 213 of the 25th. June, 1917, I have the honour to report that I have granted to Mr. R. Chapman, Accountant and Storekeeper in the Medical Department, a pension at the rate of 81,200 per annum at 38. 8d. to the dollar - £220 0 0, with effect from the 13th. September, 1917, and that arrangements have been made with the Tasmanian Government to issue payments to him as they fall due.
